latest chapter in the journey of our

It began ... our CD Release
Concert @ Birdland was
SOLD OUT!



And we followed that with more sold-out shows
and touring to support the album.

You remember that story about Paul Simon
stopping in while we were recording?
We considered that an auspicious omen!

We have a dream band  -- our go-to guys
Sean Smith (bass) & Vito Lesczak (drums),
PLUS the swinging, soulful & legendary
Houston Person (tenor saxophone).



We had a great photo shoot with the incredibly talented
Gene Reed and the package is designed by the stunningly gifted
graphic designer LuAnn Graffeo Blonkowski.



PAINTING THE TOWN ...
The songs range from Cole Porter's
"Just One Of Those Things" (that's where
the album title comes from) to Joni Mitchell's
"Marcie", with stops in between for
Berlin, Mercer, Ellington & Strayhorn,
Van Heusen, Coleman & Leigh, Carole
King, & of course, Paul Simon.



And, although it wasn't our intention, it turned out
that we released the new album just as we were
celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary --
a  fitting time to release this, our first joint CD!
